Sao Tome And Principe Friends Association (AMISTP) in United Kingdom regretted the death of a well known San Tomean Writer, Alda do Espírito Santo.
Born in April of 1926, Alda do Espírito Santo known as Alda Graça, was an emblematic figure of São Tomé and Príncipe’s liberation struggle, she also created the first generation of journalists in our country, and also the São Tomé Writers Union which through her work, she preserved, valued and consecrated cultural values of her mother land.
AMISTP never forget one of her most important piece of work, our Country national song, (Independecia Total glorioso canto do povo (…) Dinamismo na Luta Nacional (..) Unidos venceremos…)
